Text Box: Instructor Resources wEBPAGE

Are you teaching a different level next quarter?  Do you know which textbooks are appropriate?  Would you like some ideas for tech lab assignments?  You can find the answers to these questions and more at
http://elmo.shore.ctc.edu/callab/instructorresources/resources.htm.  Here’s some of the things you can find:

The Essential Skills Program Documents:  This webpage provides access to the ESL Academic Handbook, MCOs, the rubrics, list of academic textbooks, sample syllabi, and more.

Approved Textbook List:  these web pages will provide you with the current list of approved textbooks for levels 1-5 as well as academic levels.  There is also a place to leave feedback about a particular book as well as review what others have written.

Rosetta Stone and Ellis:  We have online versions of the scope and sequence for these software applications.  The scope and sequence provides an overview of the contents and organization of the programs. This can be very helpful when directing your students to specific areas that they may need to review.

Student Handouts for the Tech Lab:  Faculty can find assignments created by other instructors for their students to complete when they come to the lab.  The assignments cover all levels and skill areas. Any instructor unsure of what activity is suitable for the lab should start here.                                                         (Go to Page 1 /  Page 3)
